Best Hotels/ Resorts Near Lake Lure

Hotels in the Lake Lure area are fairly luxurious, so they are perfect for those on a honeymoon or pampered vacation. I will do my best to include a budget-worthy hotel as well.

1. Wyndham Resort at Fairfeild

The Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Mountains is mostly for members who buy into the Wyndham point system- you must be a member before you can get a place with them.

We stayed at this charming, yet outdated resort. It was outdated because the washer, dryer, stove, and fridge looked like they were from the 70s and falling apart (I had to fix the dryer twice).

If you own points with Wyndham, ask them for the newly renovated rooms- they were working on them when we last went.

The resort offers several amenities including; pools, hot tubs, discounts on boat tours, and golf! If those activities aren’t inviting, visit their beach on-site, the bar, or the activity center.

Cost Per Night: If you don’t use their rewards system, you could pay $800-$1200 nightly

8. Emberglow Outdoor Resort

This campground is a bit far from Lake Lure, but it’s still one of my favorite campgrounds for several reasons. You can rent several things, including bungalows, yurts, and tiny homes. There is a pool, and they set up a screen for watching TV on some nights.

I loved staying at the Emberglow Outdoor Resort with our Ford camper van. They were more than willing to accommodate us, even though they were completely booked. We parked on the side next to the tent sites and had a blast.

There is a community fire, a playground for the kids, and plenty of walking trails. Don’t worry about getting messy because the bathrooms are some of the cleanest we have seen at a campground.
